Church Tour Video

New video! Inside the Communidade da Colheita church (not during a service though).

This is the ground floor of the combined church/house building. The space you see here is the same size as the second floor, Paul’s house, and the third floor, the laje (the Brazilian attic/patio sort of thing, where water tanks and clothes lines are and where barbeques can be held).

In front of the large mural, and covered by a rug, is a tank for baptisms, a standard feature in many Evangelical/Pentecostal churches. The concept of the flowing river was inspired by the baptism mural from a Pentecostal church in New Zealand which my brother and I attended as children, and was painted by a local Brazilian artist. A similar mural can be seen in the drop-in centre.
